May 28, 2010,
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has been released. The spectacular picture for the ordinary viewers, a ground for criticizing for the game fans and cinema admirers. The beautiful movie saturated with the Eastern spirit.
First of all, the key character:
Jake Gyllenhaal has incarnated the image of Prince. The funniest critique…

Borroel Entertainment will be holding auditions for two twenty minute short films at the end of June. Both of these films will be entered for submission into larger film festivals outside the Sacramento area (Sundance, Telluride, Austin Film Festival, etc.). There will be no compensation, but meals will be provided and has the potential for great exposure for talent in larger markets. Filming will be done on weekends in July and August.

It's called "Runaway Productions"...Making movies (of any significant budget) has been moving our of California for the past few decades. Now it's getting critical for those who make their livings making movies... Mostly folks living in Los Angeles. I had to repost the following commentary from the LA Producers Group Forum:
It is not just runaway production, it is the general dumbing down of America and
the screamingly constant increasing stupidity of on-screen content driven by…

Hello All,
I wanted to thank you all of comin' out for the Digital Odyssey Conference. It was great seeing you all again and thank you for allowing me to wax fantastic about Transmedia. It's interesting because two nights later I attended another talk in SF and while everyone there was 'in the know" they seemed to be more concerned with the technology than the story. And that's a big mistake.
Technology is ever changing...it is ever advancing. It is in essence built to…

On behalf of the Sacramento Film Festival and California Film family I'd like to extend a sincere "thank you" to everyone involved in the just concluded festival.
It was an amazing ten days in which we saw awe inspiring art from truely accomplished filmmakers. In addition, we learned more about the craft with cutting edge workshops and conversations from some of the industry's best and brightest. Our commitment to these visionary artists and to the film going community was…

How many times to do I hear that one? Happened again last week. It's really beginning to become a burr under my saddle. It's becoming a euphemism for "do you know any suckers who will give me a gift of money?". These filmmakers rarely have a business plan, which means they have no idea how they will ever return the money lent to them, much less give the "investor" a return on that "investment". That's really fraud. That's why there are laws against these types of scams. These… Continue

What I've been predicting has just been announced at the Consumer
Electronics Show ( CES). Intel has unveiled its new WiDi device... or
Wireless Display Technology. This device, along with Netgear's
Push2TV Adapter, allows an Internet download to be transmitted from
your computer to your big LCD screen in the living room where you now can enjoy a movie download from the internet with the push of a button. The device
is a bit pricey right now ( as ALL tech breakthoughs…
