Pictured - Voices For Freedom


CineSoul is the celebration of black culture in film. Join us this year as we screen Voices for Freedom, The Hyers Sisters' Legacy, a biography of Sacramento's own Hyers sisters, 19th-century opera singers and civil rights activists who revolutionized the way blacks were seen in music. Directed by Susheel Bibbs.

Then stick around for The Musician, a moving story of loss and redemption by Tommy Ross.
