Looking for a Jail Scene

I’m currently working on a documentary which will re-create with actors the beginning story of how six addicts got into drugs.

My question to you is, we have to do a scene in a jail, but I’ve heard that it’s pretty difficult to get a permit to shoot there because of security issues. Is there any place in Sacramento that might have a room that could pass for a jail cell? Congrats on the birth of the 5th screenplay!I would like to hear your story about getting an agent.

My genre? Well I have two scripts in the works:

1> Thriller/Action/Espionage that takes place in silicon valley. 26 pages completed. Stalled at this point. And then I started the outline story #2.

2> Horror genre. It is a zombie flick that involves a journey from Travis Air Force base to Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. Think Zombieland meets Damnation Alley meets the Wizard of Oz.

Actually I have been out of work (senior technical writer/silicon valley) for the past several months but am happy to report I start a full-time gig on this Monday. And my lease expires Nov 27 so I am also looking for a new apt. With all of these stressors I have not spent much time on the screenplays. My question for you is how do you schedule your writing and actually get stuff done?
