Jacques Burtin is a director, a composer and a writer.

He directs experimental short films and documentary films on contemporary artists. He teaches courses on Improvisation and Interdisciplinarity at the Fine Arts School of the Basque Country University (Bilbao, Spain).

Jacques Burtin plays the piano, the kora and the gravi-kora (electric kora). He has released 20 Cds. He conceives interdisciplinary shows, sound installations and multimedia concerts.
