I am writing a video game in the purest sense... It is actually using video clips! It is in line with A Puzzle of Flesh (Phantasmagoria II) and the Myst series. I will be generating virtual sets for all scenes for this first person adventure game/movie.
I am now working on writing the game engine software. After which I will write the story (script) and design all my "locations" and actions. After all the location design is finished I will need some actors to play a few roles in the game, against greenscreen of course, and they will appear in the game at designated story highlights.
The game's story will be based on my short "Lucifer and the Magus" and the feature length movie from which Lucifer and the Magus was based (still in the writing stage). I will devise several choices for the player which will create at least 5 different "stories" as the game plays out each time (depending on the choices).
Anyway, I need to get back to coding... yes, I write software. :)

The Official website for Lucifer and the Magus.
Yes, it took a while. Lots of technical difficulties, including web browser incompatibilities! Will the war never end? :)
So, Google Chrome works best when viewing the site. Internet Explorer is okay but the font size in certain parts is too small. :(
More features to come. Including a game... See link below.…

I have started on another short script. Sci-fi of course, but this time I am attempting the use of a CG character with live action and virtual sets (lots of green screenin'). Yes. You read that. A CG character. Trying for "as real as possible" for the shoestring budget production. I let y'all know when the script is finished in case anyone wants to join in on the model making and animation.
The on going project "Dreamness" is a bit boggy. I still need to finish the first draft…

I attended the Sacramento Film Festival over the last weekend of the event. I got to meet and listen to people in the movie industry and those who practice transmedia. Very educational for those wanting to make a living at making movies.
The "Surreal" segment of the festival had many great movies. Even the Sac-Animation segment had a few enjoyable and humorous moments.
I personally learned a lot from the experience. I recommend going to next year's festival…

My movie Lucifer and the Magus should have won some kind of award, however it was in a category that did not win any awards at all. The movie was hidden in the Sac-Animation segment, but there was never an award for best animation. What's up with that? Not even best "fantasy"? Best visual effects? Nothing? I mean heck, the music by itself should have gotten an award.
I am appreciative of the fact that it was in the festival. But I was expecting a bit more "exposure". An audience…
