Sacramento's own, Grant High School has been a factory of NCAA Division 1 and NFL players.

Grant is located in an area where gangs, drugs, and violence are regular obstacles students must overcome. For many players, football may be their only way out of Del Paso Heights. How will these young men defeat seemingly insurmountable odds?

Meet film's director, Konstantinos Kambouroglou plus  Kenneth B. Morris, Jr. - great, great, great grandson of Frederick Douglass and the great, great grandson of Booker T. Washington and President of Frederick Douglass Family Initiatives. He will be live and in-person discussing modern day slavery and screening his short film "To Build Strong Children."

I am no longer young but most of my life is closely connected with sports. It's football in my case.. I remember my father betting with the guys who hung out near the exit of the stadium.
