project at berklee college of music / live instruments - none / this project was sequenced only and as for the requirements, we were allowed to make our own. i chose to do a variation on the "twelve-tone technique". though the piece is not strictly twelve-tone, a matrix was created for the composition and the instruments cycled through the row (or parts of it) using twelve-tone techniques. also, the chord progression was based on the twelve tones in the row. i chose to do this because i had taken several classes on serialism in the semester, and was curious to see how the technique might be adapted when scoring a film.
