About me - current project:

Hi, I am a filmmaker based in Scotland. I write and produce my own films. Currently, I am debut directing another short in Edinburgh.

LOCKED IN which will be screened at the Sacramento Film festival is my first film which I wrote, produced and co-directed.

The aim of the film is to look at the human effects of some of the anti-immigrant measures which populist governments are putting in place.

It's about asylum seekers in UK detention centre: a married couple Samira and Nazim are locked in and on the fast track for expulsion from the UK back to torture in their homeland, desperately hoping the UK will grant them asylum.
