An official selection at over 30 film festivals, the mystery/sci-fi film "Pig" is the fourth feature from writer/director Henry Barrial. Winner of five awards, including four Best Feature awards, "Pig" is the story of a man who wakes up alone in the middle of the desert with a black hood on his head and his hands tied behind his back. At death's door, he is discovered by a woman living alone in the desert and is nursed back to health. Upon regaining consciousness, the man realizes he has no idea who he is or how he got in the desert. His only clue, a piece of paper in his pocket with the name "Manny Elder" written on it, sends him on a journey to Los Angeles to discover his past. But things and people are not what they seem and clues lead to something bigger and more unusual than the man could have ever imagined.
“ Highly recommended. Along the lines of Nolan's Memento. A thoughtful meditation on consciousness and being, developed as a suspenseful search for self." - Scott Urban, THE HORROR ZINE
“ The most provocative film I saw at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. A brilliant sci-fi thriller…that catches you by surprise and lingers in the mind long after the final fade out." - Robin E Simmons, DESERT STAR WEEKLY
“ A splendidly crafted...conceptually ambitious thriller. A story that glistens with philosophical relevance for our current age. The kind of sly little genre experiment that reveals the parched cinematic imagination that characterizes most studio thrillers." - GATEWAY CINEFILES
