- Film Synopsis:
At the heart of every city, are its people. But what about their city do the people love? What are
the things that give them true happiness, warmth, and memories, which they carry with them
through every moment of their lives? Is it always the grand architecture, the rich history, the
vibrant culture? Or is it the little things? That boat ride with a lover, the tingling taste of their
favourite sweet, that rush of emotion when they open an old wardrobe? Or is it a bit of both? We
thought about it long and hard, and realized, that only one who had the answer was the city
herself.
So we asked her. We asked the quaint and beautiful Indian city of Kolkata what made her beautiful.
In this film, written by Rohini Joseph and directed by Arjun Chatterjee, we hear from Kolkata herself why her people love her so much.

Film Director Biography:
Arjun is an engineer who realized midway through engineering that he was not indeed, an
engineer. His one true love was always film and animation and thus, the moment he completed his
engineering degree, he packed his bags and went to study animation at NYU. After graduating
with a Masters Degree in Animation and Digital Arts, Arjun started working at Big 3 Productions in
Singapore. Arjun has directed, produced, and written for films, TVC’s, and even corporate videos.
It’s been a crazy journey ever since. And he has never looked back.
