- About me - current project:
- I wrote Wren to explore a part of my life that deals with my mother’s drug addiction. Growing up with a mother on drugs was very difficult for me to accept. However, I had to learn to not judge her by her addiction but as a loving mother who was broken from the inside. Making this film will help me to better understand and sympathize with the decisions my own mother made. I want audiences to see themselves in my characters, even if they have not literally gone through my own experiences. I hope they connect with my characters on a human level, and receive my film’s message of learning to love someone enough to let them go.
