Synopsis for 'Shino's Show'

Shino is a young Japanese woman, living on the breadline in London. She works in a menial early morning job as a cleaner in a prestigious West End hairdressing school - barely noticed by most of the teachers and students. Her life is something of a daily grind. She is far from home in an expensive city. Things haven't quite panned out as she had planned.

Except at that time - once every month when Shino has a phone call with her mother. Then, using an elaborate set of contrivances, Shino becomes a leading in-demand hairdresser.

And this makes her mother so proud.

And this means everything to Shino.

Today is one such day, and the well-oiled machinery of Shino's alternative life is going to plan.
