Trailer to Kurt Weitzmann's new film, The Good Bus. Two people with similar world views, but separated by race, class, and gender meet at a bus stop on the day before --and the day after-- the election of our first African American president. Power plays shift and conflicts surface, bringing the two characters together in an emotional climax. The Good Bus, a film adaption of Kurt Weitzmann’s short play 'the magic Negro.' is a complex reminder that no matter what is to come, that day in November of 2008 is a moment in time that should be held in our collective consciousness and celebrated in our country's history.
