The "N" Word

Just got word that “The N Word”, a SYFI, Action, and subtle comedy short will be premiering on April 23 at the Crest Theater between 12:30-2:00 as part of the Sacramento Film Festival. It’s a great little film written and produced by Sacramento local Ron Henslee featuring an all-star local cast and crew. Notables are Petri Byrd (Judge Judy), Craig DeLuz, Demond Stone, Johnny Moore, Sarah Elizabeth, Jason Knittle (Director), Shawnda Christiansen (Executive Producer), and Tell yBlackwood (Numerous Hats).

Hope to see a great turnout in support of the local talent.

This was a really fun film. "The N Word" is sharp, witty, and a joy to watch over and over!!

A word From Jason F. Knittle

When Shawnda and I set out to Direct “The N Word” we had a clear vision of how we wanted shots set up for each scene. Having worked with a couple of the actors already in previous Projects that I directed, I knew that they could handle what we wanted. Craig Deluz brought a special twist to his character with a slight southern drawl. Petri Byrd, brought the added level of professionalism, which meshed well With Craig.
