Providing students of all ages & backgrounds with opportunities to learn about themselves and the world through film. Film has the power to inspire, to educate and to create community. CFI Education is building the next generation of filmmakers and film lovers through its creative film programs for Bay Area students, serving 6,500 young people and hundreds of educators, adults and families since 1986.

Some Institute Education offers free annual screenings for school groups and their families, as well as several cinema-centric programs for Bay Area children, teens & adults that include hands-on filmmaking workshops and seminars that introduce students to the power of film as a communication tool with the ability to build bridges of understanding within communities and throughout the world.
