Junebug is set in modern-day Southern Cali's tough and gritty Rockabilly Industrial Scene and explores the themes of this subculture, family relationships, and the other side. 

Its the story of Mickey Dunn, the neighborhood bad-ass and the Rose, the king of girl who comes along and changes everything.  Mickey grew up here in East LA and made his bones building hot rods with his best friend Al and busting faces as a street fighter.  Rose was from a strict Mexican family that never approved of Mickey.

After the birth of their son, Junebug, Rose is diagnosed with a terminal disease.  Read more
