Rob Richert graduated from Columbia University’s MFA film program with a focus in directing in the Spring of 2013.
Rob is currently living in the Bay Area, writing a feature film and teaching filmmaking at Diablo Valley College.
His film playing at SFF 2014, No One but Lydia is a coming of age comedy set in Berkeley CA with an angle towards celebrating the quirk endemic to the area.
Laurels, awards and other accomplishments:

played at Telluride 2013, won at Napa 2012, Sf Indie Fest 2013 and Florida FF 2013. It was also in copetition at New Orleans FF, San Diego FF, Ashland FF, and Austin FF.
my new film which I am excited to screen at Sacramento has also screened at
SF FF 2014 and Memphis Indie FF 2013.
