"The Concierge" was born out of my fascination for the New York and London that the directors of the 70s photographed. For quite a while, walking around San Francisco on foggy cold wet evenings evoked those images in my mind. And, slowly, along came the story for the movie.

With the help of a very talented team, we photographed the movie on 2 such extremely cold and wet nights. It was one of the most exhilarating and intense experiences of my life so far. I now wish we had shot some "making of" footage to help relive those memories.
