Kim Nunley has not received any gifts yet
Sly Sylvester is a short comedy about an apartment renter so desperate for love that he pretends to own a cat in order to make contact with the gorgeous pet sitter, but finds himself in a debacle when his menacing landlord thinks he’s breaking the lease’s no-pet rule.

He’s also an award-winning screenwriter, placing not one but two scripts for TV’s “The Office” in last year’s Scriptapalooza contest. He’s also a published author, with his book, Indie Rock 101: Running, Recording and Promoting Your Band, available at bookstores everywhere through Focal Press. CREW
Producer/Director: APRIL ABEYTA
April fell in love with movies at 14 years-old after watching Fried Green Tomatoes. She adored the movie so much that her mother, who was single-handedly raising twin daughters, dropped $100 at Tower Records so that April could have her own copy before the VHS release date. She can still recite the entire movie today. It was in 1993, after April saw Jurassic Park, however, that she knew she wanted to make movies. She went on to attend Chapman University (Panthers!) and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production. Today she works in retail media and spends her weekend afternoons flipping TV channels to see what movies are playing.
Producer/Writer: KIM NUNLEY
Let’s just say that Kim was a late bloomer. Her mother made her watch classic films while growing up, but she preferred to watch Jim Carrey dance around in a tutu. Kim was obsessed with sports and went on to get both her Bachelor and Masters degrees in Kinesiology, believing that she wanted to train athletes for a living. In 2002, despite Kim’s objections, April made her sit down and promise to watch at least five minutes of On Golden Pond. Two hours later, Kim hadn’t moved. It wasn’t until Kim caught the 1950 classic All About Eve, however, that she truly fell in love with movies. Today she works as a freelance writer and every so often gets out of her chair and goes out for runs.
