About me - current project:: I am a filmmaker and media artist based in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Originally from Reno, Nevada, I am currently an Assistant Professor of Film, Video & Media at Western Michigan University. My project, FEARLESS, is a script for a short film intended to motivate viewers to participate in breast cancer screening and disease prevention through early detection.

Laurels, awards and other accomplishments:: My recent short film HUMAN HEART (OVERTURE) was accepted to screen at the 42nd Seattle International Film Festival as an official selection for SIFF’s ShortsFest Weekend, May 26-30, 2016. SIFF is a recognized Oscar nominating festival for short films.
