About me - current project:: Deanna L. Jones became involved in acting at the age of six with the local community theater. Her first production was Alice in Wonderland, where she was too nervous to read lines at the audition and had a non-speaking role. She later went on to attend Harrison School for the Performing and Visual Arts, studying theatre.

Feeling a pull to Seattle, Jones moved in April, 2011. Soon after, she was inspired to write her first screenplay, Nexus, which took nine months to complete.

Immediately after finishing Nexus, Jones wrote The Euphoria of Waking Up, a script she started years prior and, after a burst of inspiration, came back to. Euphoria was finished in three weeks. The screenplay placed as a semifinalist in the 2012 Creative World Awards contest and is currently a 2013 Fade In Awards quarterfinalist.

Jones lives in California, working on her third writing project.
