When Lazaro’s boss dies, he’s caught amidst Lucia’s attempts to exorcise the demons from the relationship with her late father while his attraction to her slowly turns into an obsession.
Laurels, awards and other accomplishments:
David Figueroa García holds a BA in Classic Literature from the City University of New York and a Master of Fine Arts in Film Directing and screenwriting from Columbia University. His work as a director has received awards from the Directors Guild of America, the National Board of Review, Independent Film Project, Brooklyn Arts Council, the Jerome Foundation, among others. His first short film, Ratitas, premiered at the Morelia International Film Festival and went on to win the award for best short film in the Brooklyn Film Festival and the best Mexican short in the Monterrey International Film Festival. His second short, Perfidia, premiered at the San Sebastian Film Festival and won the award for Best Mexican Short at the Guanajuato International Film Festival.
