About me - current project:: I'm a former newspaper editor who has turned to screenwriting. I have optioned two scripts and have two others in development.

Laurels, awards and other accomplishments:: Several of my scripts have done well in screenwriting competitions:

-- Coach Rob took a first place honor for screenwriting, the Seahorse Award, at the 2012 Moondance Film Festival and took another first place at the 2013 All Sports Los Angeles Film Festival.

-- Road to Triomphe placed first in the drama category of the 2010 Page International Screenwriting Awards and was named to the Elite Eight at the 2012 All Sports Los Angeles Film Festival.

-- Firestep placed second in the 2011 screenwriting competition at the Vail Film Festival and was a finalist in the drama category of the 2008 Page International Screenwriting Awards.

-- White Light was a finalist in the screenwriting category at the 2009 Moondance Film Festival.

-- Little Olympian was a semi-finalist in the family category of the 2012 Page Awards.

-- Pieces of Eight was a semi-finalist in the family category of the 2011 Page Awards.
