Attila Rostas - Bay Area resident Writer/Director. Based on true events, The Shepherds of Cat Island, is a short narrative drama that puts individual and collective responsibility under microscope to examine systematic prejudice and racial tension in the midst of WWII. 1943 January, Cat Island, Mississippi. The FBI is expected at the government’s secret military base to see how Japanese-American soldiers serve as ‘dog baits’.
