I am seeking a documentary filmmaker to create a video celebrating the lives of Harriet Tubman and other women who effected great progressive change in the country yet remain under recognized. I intend to get grant money to fund it and need to speak with someone about a realistic budget. I intend the video to be 45 to 60 minutes long and suitable for play in high school as well as before the general public. I live in Sacramento, am an avid musician and civil rights activist and 58 years old. Let me know if you are interested. 916-201-3654.
I'd like to invite you to a very important mixer event for our black and brown film professionals in town. It's the Urban Film Maker's Summit: Oct. 23rd at 6:30pm. Venue is Carols Books at 1903 Del Paso blvd.
This unique mixer/meeting will feature food, networking and a conversation on what opportunties exist for actors, film makers and related artists.. Plus, we'll highlight the Cine Soul and Cine Latino upcoming film festivals!
