When we approach a job like this we are looking to dial in not only a cohesive look and a strong overall visual identity, but we are also aware of scalability and malleability. This means that as a company we are always looking toward the future of the project and what changes might need to be made. This can happen through updates or if the client or the client’s client suddenly changes their mind in a major way. This is pretty common and can lead to a lot of heartache if we don’t take the step ahead of time to make things easier to tweak and more automated to change. This is one of the key reasons to hire an experienced video production company. They are going to be better about planning for the future of a project than a company that hasn’t had to resurrect a video that they thought was completely done. This is not client specific either, but a matter of approaching each video with an eye toward flexibility and expandability.

EVENT SIZZLE VIDEO – MRC 2018

This is our third year in producing a sizzle video for this event. Our client is Merchant Risk Council. What makes this conference videography fun to create is the process. We start filming on the evening of the event. We capture the participants enjoying themselves in a relaxed setting. Next we film the main events of the conference for a couple of days. Then on the 4th day we have this fun video to show. It wraps up the event and participants get a chance to see themselves in the video.

About the 2018 event:
Each year, the MRC welcomes 1500+ attendees from over 450 companies, located in over 30 countries to their flagship event in Las Vegas, Nevada. MRC Vegas is the largest global event focused on fraud prevention, payment processing, technology, cybersecurity and financial services for eCommerce professionals.

With collaboration and relationship building in mind, MRC Vegas offers attendees four days of education, networking, information sharing and after-hours activities. Attendees have access to an expansive exhibition hall complete with over 75 exhibit booths, a demo theater showcasing solution providers’ products, plus networking lounges and entertainment.

MRC Vegas also hosts the MRC Technology Awards, recognizing solution providers, card brands and issuers making significant contributions to the fraud, payments and risk industries. Each year winners are selected and presented an award on stage to honor their achievements.

Dance party, anyone? The BLARE team is all about good music and great moves! We shot this music video for Pop Artist Laddi Edans. Getting to shoot around Laddi's stomping grounds in Sac was a pretty fun experience for the team, and we were happy to know that he was enjoying himself just as much! How could we not, among the high spirits, dancing and Sacred Fire Dancing! Talent was pooled from a few neat sources to produce this video. Sac Dance Lab brought dancers and neat choreography to the table, and Obsidian Butterfly performed some awe-inspiring Fire Dancing for the lens. We shot several places inside and around Sac Dance Lab, and get a taste of luxury from the first shot, which we further milked with beautiful area shots and 6K footage shot by the RED Epic camera.

Everyone felt right at home during the shoot! Mauricio Tapia (attach link), BLARE Media in-house editor and color grader, was the Director of Photography, while Ian McAleece, another integral member of the BLARE team, directed. Matthew Jeff was the assistant camera, and Ryan Gibson was our grip--and we're happy to say they are both very familiar faces for BLARE Media.

Anton Paar - Anchor Brewing Testimonial

When producing a client testimonial video we often go out to the enduser's location. Which for this video it happens to be in the City of San Francisco and the home of the Anchor Brewing company. One of the oldest breweries in the West. There we heard and saw first hand how Anton Paar's wine and microbrew instruments work.

Our production team captured this fine brewery and amazing staff using two GH4 Ultra HD Cameras, a Dana Dolly slider and great lighting. The aerial footage was captured with our DJI Inspire 1 Drone utilizing a two man team (pilot & camera operator) to get those establishing aerial shots. Then our post-production editing team brought the video to life with help from Anton Paar. We give special thanks to Anton Paar for selecting us to work on this project. Needless to say not all client testimonial videos are this fun to shoot. Shoot at an awesome brewery in San Francisco? Okay.

The Anton Paar Group has its origins in 1922 when the master locksmith Mr. Anton Paar started a one-man machine repair workshop.
