Scoring "The Killing of Mary Surratt"

Just finished scoring Chris King's beautiful "The Killing of Mary Surratt", a very poignant period piece, reenactment Lincoln-era documentary...a very empathetic treatment of a very troubled time and issue, and real opportunity to compose expressive music. Used string orchestra and solo instruments - piano, cello, viola, pioneer fiddle, and acoustic guitar. watermarkfilms.net of Sacramento area.

Updating Filmmaking Equipment (Well just a little)

So. I have decided to finally sell my Canon HV30 today. I put it up on Craigslist and decided to upgrade my equipment. It was kind of sad knowing that i would not be working with the camera that's been with me since the beginning, through thick and thin. But it's time for us to go our separate ways. Hopefully he will move on just as I know i will move on without him, and I wish him the best of success in the future. I will keep my 35mm Depth of field adapter.
